Get to Know Us
Planning to a T is based out of the Columbia River Gorge and is a day of to full service wedding planning company founded by local PNW planner, Tatum Picha.
Starting our wedding planning journey in 2016, we have planned weddings from coast to coast from Washington and Oregon to Florida and even internationally in Cabo, Mexico.
Our team has a heart and passion for people and is seen and felt by couples and guests at each wedding. Experienced in intimate weddings, grand celebrations, multi cultural weddings and destination weddings, we are available for world travel wherever love may take us.
Tatum's love for wedding planning started when she was a young girl. She would attend weddings and take home little souvenirs to bring home and put in her binder. Noticing the color palettes, intentional details and the flow of the day was something she caught on to quickly (and yes, she still has this binder to this day).

Fast forward to college, she attended Biola University getting her degree in Business Marketing Management and a minor in Biblical Studies. She grew up playing many sports and played college basketball before transferring to Biola University. Following graduation she competed for Miss Washington USA, opening the door for new opportunities and relationships.

Present day, she is a wife to her husband Garrett and they have 3 boys who keep them active and on their toes. She has been planning weddings since 2016 and every year gets better and better. She is one who looks for the blessings in each day and strives to live a life of joy. Throughout her life she has learned that words are powerful and when we speak truth over our lives, we can have a beautiful change in how we live out our lives.​

Kaitlyn has been planning events since college and has fallen in love with helping couples plan their special day. When she is not coordinating events, you can find her exploring the great outdoors, whether it’s casting a fly line with her husband or hiking a scenic trail or relaxing by a cool body of water with a good book.

There is nothing more exciting than exploring a new destination, which is why she loves traveling. It makes it even better when you share these adventures with friends and family, who mean the world to her.
Whether planning a small intimate gathering or a large scale event , she believes that every moment spent with loved ones is a treasure.

Tyra Danberg
Wedding Day Content Creator
Tyra has been creating content since 2020, mastering everything from fun trends and event highlights to showcasing specific products. Her passion for content creation started at a young age, with a camera in hand wherever she went. Growing up in Gen Z, storytelling through photos and videos has always felt like second nature. Tyra jumped into the wedding industry in 2021 as a day of assistant and quickly became familiar with the flow of the day. She fell in love with the sweet moments that each wedding uniquely brings.

When she is not busy creating or editing reels, Tyra is a devoted wife to her husband Riley, and a loving mom to their two little ones. Whether she is behind the camera or making memories with her family, Tyra believes every moment is worth capturing and takes pride in showcasing the beauty of life and others through her work.
